Computer Graphics
This class was taken concurrently with Web Development II in Spring 2006 as part of the Web Development Minor. This was probably the most interesting class that I had to take since I am the furthest thing from a graphic designer. Just take a look at some of the images I had to make and you will see what I mean
We utilized Three tools to create these images. During the first half of the semester we learned how to make images using Fireworks (at the time still under the Macromedia name). Then we moved to Flash videos. These two tools were probably my least favorite. After Flash we moved to PovRay where I was able to have a lot of fun. PovRay creates 3D images through programming in a C-style language. It’s worth taking a look at if you are a programmer rather than a graphic designer.
Code is included with the PovRay images for Educational Purposes Only.
