Usability & Accesibility
This course taught the principles of usability engineering, including analysis, design, prototyping and testing, with an emphasis on their application to Web development. Topics during this course included: The definition of usability, heuristic evaluation, usability goal setting, interactive design and styling, assessment methods, Web accessibility and adaptive technologies.
There was one of the few classes in the Web Development Minor that had no actual development assignments. This course was a lecture class focusing on the topics listed above.
